Lupita and the Magic of Mexico: Guidelines for Recreation and Performance

Thank you for your interest in recreating Lupita and the Magic of Mexico for your school or organization! To maintain the integrity and spirit of the play, please follow these important guidelines:                                                                                   

1. Notification and Invitation: Please notify me in advance and extend an invitation to me for the performance. I would love to be a part of the experience!                                                                                                  

2. Approved Advertising: I must approve any advertising, including promotional materials or announcements, before distribution. This ensures consistency in the portrayal of the play.                                                                                           

3. Social Media : When sharing your performance on social media, you must use the approved hashtags. This helps us to track and promote your efforts.               

4. Approved Song : You must use the official song I provide for the performance. The music plays a key role in the atmosphere of the play, and it’s essential for an authentic experience.                                                                                     

5. Authentic Clothing: All costumes should be as accurate and authentic as possible. This helps preserve the cultural significance and integrity of the play.     

6. Three-Month Notice: Please provide at least a three-month notice before your scheduled performance date. This allows time for me to review my schedule and ensure availability.                                                                                        

7.  Book Sales and Author Signing: The school may create a designated section for the sale of Lupita and the Magic of Mexico books during the performance. I am happy to attend for a book signing session and to personally sell the books, or you may request books to sell at the event.                                                                                   

8. Follow the Script: It is essential to follow the original script of the play to preserve its storyline, character development, and cultural context. Any changes to the script must be approved in advance.                                                               

9. Funding & Budget: Crafting a stunning production can require additional financial support. Your school or organization may need extra funding to bring the vision to life. Consider exploring local partnerships, community organizations, and potential grants for collaboration opportunities. Below are some resources to help you get started!
