I am looking for talented artists and illustrators to collaborate on upcoming Lupita book projects and future creative storytelling initiatives.

If you love children’s themes, imagination, culture, emotional storytelling, and creating meaningful visuals for kids, I would love to connect with you.

project details

Selected artists will collaborate closely with me to help illustrate future Lupita books. Projects may include approximately 14 illustrated pages, along with cover concepts and visual development for characters and story scenes.

Artists are encouraged to review my current Lupita books to better understand the storytelling style, themes, and visual direction of the series.

Because these stories are deeply rooted in culture, imagination, emotions, and representation, I am especially interested in artists who value meaningful storytelling and collaborative creative work.

Submission Deadline: June 1, 2026

After the initial review process, selected artists may be invited to create a sample illustration inspired by the world and characters of Lupita.

Artists are welcome to submit a Lupita-inspired sample with their initial application if they feel creatively inspired to do so, but this is completely optional and not required for first-round consideration.

We are not looking for just one artist. We plan to continue developing multiple books and creative projects moving forward and hope to build relationships with several artists and collaborators over time.

Después de la revisión inicial, algunos artistas seleccionados podrán ser invitados a crear una ilustración de muestra inspirada en el mundo y los personajes de Lupita.

También puedes enviar una muestra inspirada en Lupita con tu solicitud inicial si así lo deseas, pero esto es completamente opcional y no es necesario para la primera fase de consideración.

No estamos buscando solamente un artista. Planeamos continuar desarrollando varios libros y proyectos creativos en el futuro y esperamos construir relaciones con múltiples artistas y colaboradores a lo largo del tiempo.
